Finished my first challenge layout last night!!! Yay...since we have another one to start on today. I guess Cole and I are a good match since we both approached this layout to express our favorite animals.
Journaling reads: "Well it started out as a tactic to annoy my freshman roomate. I bought a six foot poster of flamingos wading in the tropical surf for our dorm room.She forbade me from putting it up in our room. So I did the natural thing andhung it over my bed and she got full view of it every day from her bed. Itjust kinda spiraled from there. I began collecting all things flamingo to decoratemy side of the room. Well the bright beauties just kinda grew on me. AndI became quite fond of them. I’ve had so many flamingo items over theyears. Twenty years later I limit my collection to Christmas ornaments only. I strive to keep my collection unique and now I have enough for a special tree in pink flamingo style, the tree course is made of feathers!! It’s so tacky....it’s cool!"I've gotten quite a few requests for pictures of my "flamingo tree" and I regret to inform you that in all my excitement this past Christmas I failed to take a picture of the tree. I will not make that mistake this year...plus I should have more oraments!!
